I have published several books with my brother Philip D. W. Krey, but this is the first one that I published on my own. It features a thorough study of the Joseph Novella or short story at the end of the book of Genesis. Many treatments of the story feature Potiphar’s Wife trying to seduce Joseph, but Luther features the theology of the cross in the suffering of Joseph, by which God prepares him to become the father to Pharaoh in Egypt, save the populations from the great famine and by tough love, convert his criminal brothers, who were guilty of their 22 year cold crime against him.
